Daryl Braham Awarded State Realtor of the Year for North Dakota

FARGO REALTOR® AWARDED HIGHEST HONOR
At the recent REALTOR® Convention of the Dakotas, Daryl Braham of Prudential Premier Real Estate®, Fargo, received the coveted State Realtor® of the Year Award. This award is the highest honor that the State Association of Realtors® can give to its members. The selection criteria is judged by the Realtor's® activities on the local, state and National level, on the amount of volunteer activities in their communities, personal business accomplishments and a high professional Realtors® standard. Braham was chosen from among 8 candidates after each of them won their local Realtor® of the Year Award.
Braham was licensed in real estate sales in 1999 and received his brokers license in 2000. Braham has earned several National designations such as GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and CRB (Certified Residential Broker). He grew up in Canada, spending the most time of his early years in Winnipegosis, MB where he graduated from. In 2005, he became an American citizen and now holds both Canadian and American citizenship. He also led a team in 2006 to build a home for ABC's Extreme Home Makeover: Home Edition in Minot. His team successfully planned and constructed a home in 106 hours. He was then asked to co-lead a build for the same show for the season's finale in 2008 in New Orleans, LA.
Braham has been very involved in all three levels of the REALTOR® organization - local, state and national. He has served in all leadership roles with the Fargo Moorhead Area Association of REALTORS® and served as their President in 2007. For the North Dakota Association of REALTORS® he has served in leadership roles, education speaker, facilitator and was elected President Elect at this same convention. At the National level he currently is Vice Chair of the Multiple Listing Issues and Policy Forum, member of the Board of Directors, graduate of the inaugural NAR Leadership Academy (of which he continues to give back) and also has served as a facilitator at the Presidential Roundtables. Braham loves to be involved and as his statement rounds it all out "To me it is simple, I love being involved, I have a deep admiration for the support and sense of community created through our Association, and I want to give back and use my energy in every way possible to help our Association in the future" and he does live and breath by this.
The North Dakota Association of Realtors® consists of approximately 1,400 REALTORS® and 250 Affiliate Members with eight local Boards throughout the State of North Dakota. These local Boards and State Association are part of the National Association of Realtors®, with a combined membership of over 1,200,000, which is the largest trade association in the United States.
